I noticed the pretty fall decor welcoming me to come inside, as I entered the club on a brisk fall day. Although a little early for my meeting, Membership Director RJ Johnson was happy to meet with me in the Members-only bar. While there, I experienced the sense of community of this club as members called greetings to each other and staff addressed each golfer by name. Outside, golfers practiced at the putting green and I could see several others on carts and playing the course. What a day to be able to play! RJ informed me the course was built in 2001, and that the amenities include 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor, 2 tennis courts, a fitness center and yoga room. Although the club is private, memberships are open to anyone, not just those who live in the nearby Piedmont, Parks of Piedmont and Villages of Piedmont communities.
